Investment Approach
Your goals. Our market insight.
Every portfolio starts with you — your goals, your timeline, and how much risk you're comfortable with. From there, a strategy is built around what makes sense for you. Your portfolio holdings will amlost always look like one, or a mix of the following:
Shares
We purchase stocks or ETFs we believe have strong momentum for growth-oriented investors, or dividend-paying stocks and ETFs for those focused on income. Share ownership will almost always be the foundation of the portfolio.
Shares + Options
When 100 shares or more of an indivudual stock or ETF are owned, options strategies may be used on top of those positions. This lets us generate additional income from what we already own, reduce our cost basis over time, or add a layer of protection when markets get choppy.
Options Alone
In some cases, use options are used by themselves — without holding the underlying shares. This allows us to take advantage of option premiums and market volatility to generate returns, without needing to commit capital to a full position. (Uncovered Options, or "naked" Options are never sold)
Is this you?
Ten Situations. Same Answer.
If one sounds like you, let's talk.
- You own a stock that's done well. You don't want to sell it — you just want to protect it.
- You just retired. It's time for your money to start paying you.
- You came into a lump sum — a bonus, a sale, an inheritance. You don't want to throw it all in at once.
- You're saving for something real — a house, a wedding, tuition. You want it growing, but you can't afford to lose it.
- You have cash ready to invest, but every time you think about jumping in, something stops you.
